IGH Commissions Amaewhule Cottage Hospital in Ebonyi
We are proud to be part of the commissioning of a new Cottage Hospital in Ebonyi State, a project made possible in collaboration with Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki (AEFUTHA), the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Nigeria, the Ebonyi State Government, and Sentinel Funders.
IGH led the construction and equipping of the facility with modern diagnostic and clinical equipment, bringing healthcare to a hard-to-reach community.
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound scans, Echocardiography machines (ECG), patient ambulatory monitors, labor & delivery suites, ophthalmologic equipment, a 24-hour solar power supply, and residential quarters for health workers to ensure seamless operations and patient care.
This project aims to strengthen research, capacity building, and public-private partnerships in the fight against infectious diseases.
