Researchers from leading institutions across the US, Europe, and Africa are coming together to foster sustainable collaborations in infectious disease research. In light of current global funding landscapes, there is a need to build partnerships that transcend administrative changes. By focusing on cross-border collaborations, mentorship, and resource sharing, this initiative aims to empower researchers at all levels, from early-career scientists to established experts, strengthening global research capacity.

As part of this effort, we hosted Celine Perier, PhD from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Lacy Simons, and Prof. Judd Hultquist from Northwestern University – The Feinberg School of Medicine as they explored potential collaborations with IGH.

Their visit was marked by a presentation from the IGH team, a guided tour of our facilities, a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Redeemer’s University, strategic discussions and an impactful research presentation by Prof. Hultquist.
